Iberdrola Energía awarded a contract to KMEISA for the execution of electrical and instrumentation commissioning services in the Noreste Power Plant Project.

The electrical commissioning services included:

• Generator Resistance and Behavior Tests.
• Insulation, Contact, and Power Factor Resistance Tests associated with Main Switchgear.
• Power Transformer Testing.
• Protection Testing associated with MV, LV and DC Switchgear, Main Turbine Generators, Power Transformers and 230 Kv GIS.
• Insulation and Resistance Testing on the Isolated and Non-segregated Phase Bus Duct Systems.

The instrumentation commissioning services included:

• Pressure and Level Instruments Calibration.
• Temperature, Measurement Instrument Verification and Calibration.
• Control Valve Verification and Calibration.
• Fiber Optic Cable Testing.

KMEISA were also responsible for all logistical matters associated with supporting the Plant Commissioning and Start up on a 24 hour working basis, including supply of all technical, administration and HSE personnel.
