In August 2018 Iberdrola Energía awarded KMEISA Instrumentación y Servicios Mecánicos, S.A. de C.V. the contract to execute the BOP 1 Electrical Installation in the 45 CC Topolobampo III Project.

The scope of works consisted in the installation of:
• Isolated Phase Bus Duct Systems.
• Main Generator Circuit Breakers.
• Main Power Transformers including Oil Filling and treatment.(50-3000 Kva).
• Installation of MV, LV Switchgear.
• DC Battery Systems and UPS.
• Sampling System and associated Instrumentation.
• Earthing System.
• Instrument Installation.
• Piping and Fittings.
• Cable Containment System and Supports.

345,178 Kms of cable were installed and distributed as follows:

• 24,924 m Communications Cable.
• 15,996 m MV Cable.
• 102,038 m LV Cable (AWG/KCM).
• 204,252 m Instrumentations and Control Cable (Calibre AWG/KCM).
• Circuits: 3,506 Cable Connections: 27,702.

Additionally we installed 5,615m conduit, 784m tubing and 585 instruments.

The project was successfully completed after 10 months having expended 370,000 man hours.
