In July 2018 KMEISA Instrumentación y Servicios Mecánicos, S.A. de C.V.received from AVANZIA ENERGIA S.A. DE C.V. a contract to execute works on the FV MEXSOLAR I and II project, a project consisting of the design, construction, commissioning and operation of a solar photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 70.35 MWp in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.

KMEISA’s scope of works was:

• Completion of Pull Tests to Main Support Structures.
• Assembly and Installation of Pole Bearings.
• Assembly and Installation of Solar Tracker.
• Assembly and Installation of Linear Actuator.
• Electrical Installation (cabling and accessories).
• Omegas Purlin Mounting.
• Handling and Mounting of Photovoltaic Modules. (Solar Panels).
• Installation of Anemometers.

The works areas extended some 2,520,393.00 m2. A total of 2,429 solar trackers and 211,323 solar panels were installed.

A peak workforce of 120 people and 200,000 man hours are allocated for the execution of this project.

This project marks KMEISA´s entry into renewable / sustainable energy projects and further supports the technical and logistical capability of the company.
