KMEISA Instrumentación y Servicios Mecánicos S.A. de C.V. received from Grupo Avanzia three individual contracts for the execution of Instrumentation,Fiber Optic and Lighting Works on the Valle de Mexico Power Plant Project.

Some of the instrumentation installation activities were:

• 18,500 m of rigid conduit system installation as secondary cable containment connection to all major equipment, pumps, cabinets and valve systems.
• Supply, fabrication and installation of 12,000 kg of metallic structure for containment support structures.
• 10,000 m of Instrument Tubing systems including Leakage tests to high, medium and low pressure tubing.
• Installation of 286,500 m of instrumentation cable.
• 34,850 cable terminations.

The fiber optic works included:

• 87 fiber optic circuits totaling 22,134 mts of cable.
• 1,024 cable terminations.
• Attenuation Tests.
• Installation of distribution hubs - 12, 24, 36 and 72 ports.

The lighting system installation covered:

• Installation of 500 lamp posts.
• Installation of 7,445 mts of conduit in buildings, platforms, piperack and structures up to 25 mts high.
• 103,856.00 m. of cable.
• Installation of 1,847 lighting fittings including plant emergency lighting.
